Dog's been panting a lot on our morning runs, so I grabbed this mainly for the chemical-free cooling claim. It really does feel cooler to the touch after a quick soak and wring, though I wish it stayed chilly a bit longer on really hot days.
It fits well under the collar and stays in place even on our hiking trails, and the cooling effect really kicked in after a quick soak. Only wish the fabric felt a bit thicker for longer outings, but it's done the job on warm mornings.
